Ecole de Voile de Terre-Sainte

These general conditions applies to all registration for courses or camps organized by the Ecole de Voile de Terre Sainte (hereinafter called «the school»). By registrating online, by phone, or directly at the school, the participant accepts unreseredly these terms and conditions. The participant means the person who is registrated in a course/camp.

Generality :

• The school is an association. Each family pays a single annual fee.

Registration and payement

• The registration to a course / camp is made directly on the school's website. Exceptionally and only if possible, registration can be done by phone or directly at the school.
• Payment of the course(s) / camp(s) must be done directly during registration on the website, using a credit / debit card or , with a surcharge, on invoice. If registration is made on invoice, by phone or directly at the school, it is only effective when the full price of the course / camp is paid.

Cancellation :

• In case of cancellation by the participant, the school reimburses the cost of the course / camp at the following rates (the annual fee is not refundable): 3 weeks before the start of the course / camp, full refund, 2 weeks before, 50% refund of the price of the course / camp, one week before, 30% refund of the price of the course / camp, less than a week, no refund.
• Upon presentation of a medical certificate, the refund will be done on the pro-rata of the time already made.

Number of participants

• Courses / camps are held only if a minimum number of participants is registered. If the school is obliged to cancel a course / camp, it will propose to the participant an alternative. In the event that no solution satisfies the participant, the school agrees to repay pay back the full price.

Responsibility

• The participant must be covered by a personnal Accident Insurance and a liability insurance.
• The course / camp starts on time, even if all participants are not present. The school no longer has supervisory responsibility for children arriving late.
• Please announce your absence or your delay (in this case, the monitor will try to wait for the laggard) at 076 587 85 08
• The school takes no responsibility for valuables.

Security

• The participant agrees to comply at all times the following safety guidelines as well as those given orally by the instructor. In case of serious violation of this rule and after due warning, the school reserves the right to exclude a participant. In this case, no refund will be made.
• The participant can swim about 25m. For the sailing gardens (6 and 7 years old), the participant need not know how to swim, but must be comfortable in the water and do not be afraid to be immergate.
• Wearing a lifejacket is obligatory in all circumstances. For windsurfing's courses, wearing a wetsuit can replace the lifejacket, by agreement of the monitor.
• Participants who are minors (under 18) are not allowed to leave the course / camp during the hours of the course / camp.
• Any movement in the course / camp area is done only after agreement from the monitor.
• At the end of the course / camp, minor children are retrieved by an adult, unless an autorisation has been issued at registration

Law and Juridiction

• Only Swiss law is applicable. The jurisdiction is in Nyon.
